Let's Talk – Aynu Wada Hadalno

My Blog, My Voice: I talk, react and review what makes me sane and happy. Written with ❤

  • Welcome to my brand new blog series celebrating Jurgen Klopp and his incredible era at Liverpool! For the past nine seasons, we’ve witnessed arguably the most thrilling football club in history. Those nine seasons delivered trophies, passion, and unforgettable memories – the best times any Liverpool fan could ever dream of. As one chapter closes and a new one begins, let’s rewind and relive the magic. Over the next nine days, I’ll share my top (or Klopp) five Klopp matches (in no particular order) – games that hold a special place in my heart as a devoted fan. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

    Chelsea v. Liverpool – 10/31/15

Let’s revisit a pivotal moment in Liverpool’s history – the match that ignited Jurgen Klopp’s incredible journey. Weeks after his appointment, Klopp faced a daunting task: defeating reigning Premier League champions Chelsea on their own turf. But Liverpool rose to the challenge, delivering a thrilling 3-1 victory. Coutinho’s stunning double and Benteke’s goal sent a clear message – this team was ready to fight for the title. Do you know who ultimately claimed the Premier League crown that season? Let us know in the comments!

Why this is part of my Klopp five: This victory marks a pivotal win that kick-started our German manager’s LFC journey. The team’s strong performance clearly signals better things to come.

    Man City v. Liverpool – 11/21/15

For some reason – and I’ll dig into the details in a future blog post – we pulled off a Premier League double over Man City. This victory felt crucial, like it gave the team the confidence to tackle bitter rivals Chelsea, and Manchester City. There’s so much more to discuss, but this win showcased the composure and chemistry Liverpool is known for. We want to teach Manchester City a lesson.

Why this made my Klopp top five: Despite occasional struggles against the Premier League’s Top 6, this match proves we can still take down the best, regardless of the season. This victory can serve as a blueprint for future managers – a reminder that Liverpool can beat elite clubs with our own unique style.

    Norwich v. Liverpool – 1/23/16

This match had everything: goals, drama, and relentless suspense. It wasn’t Liverpool’s cleanest performance, but their composure and unyielding fight are what make this team so special. Watch the vid here, or look it up on Youtube!

Why this made my Klopp top five: A Premier League classic, and a definite fixture in my top five Klopp moments.

    Liverpool v. Man United – UEL – 3/10/16

Forget England vs. Europe – this match was about proving ourselves. We showed we can take on the giants, and that kick-started something special. This rivalry is now on everyone’s radar. Ok, Man United might have had the last laugh that season, their European ambitions dinged but not destroyed. They coasted into the next round, but this time? We’re ready to send them crashing out.

Why this made my Klopp top five: Red Rivalries for a reason. Whether it is in the Prem or in Europe: we’re determined to send them packing.

Liverpool v. Borussia Dortmund – UEL

This final selection is undoubtedly a favorite of mine, a stepping stone for what’s to come in my series. It’s the embodiment of a comeback, and even though we didn’t take home the Europa League trophy that year, this match will forever hold a special place in fans’ hearts. Matchwinner Lovren will undoubtedly cherish this memory, and so will us. Despite his ups and downs with us, he always rose to the occasion in the big moments. As his career reaches its twilight, I wish him all the best.

Why this made my Klopp top five: Just watch the vid 🙂

  • I write from the heart. That often means sharing positive thoughts on mental well-being or my passion for Liverpool FC. Today, that heart feels heavy. There’s an issue weighing on me, one that demands a shift in tone because its gravity deserves nothing less.

Haters, take note: Your hurtful comments won’t silence me or the importance of this issue. For those who care about making a difference, here’s what you can do: Report harmful comments, amplify positive voices, and spread awareness about the issue at hand.

Uh oh, Reds fans… anyone else notice Nunez’s Instagram looking a little bare lately? Normally, his page is a celebration of all things Liverpool, Uruguay, and family. Sounds pretty normal, right? But ditching all the Liverpool stuff? Yeah, that’s setting off major alarm bells for me.

My biggest worry, honestly? Darwin leaving Liverpool for good. And if that happens, I’m pointing the finger straight at the trolls, the negativity warriors, and those so-called “fans” who turn social media into a toxic wasteland. It’s all gaslighting, scapegoating, and emotional abuse aimed at the players. Darwin isn’t the only one facing this online junk, and it makes me sick.

I use my platform to spread positivity and support for our boys, no matter what. But these others? They’re the complete opposite. What’s their endgame? Likes? Nasty comments? Building a reputation for negativity? It’s not about the players, either. They’re dragging down the whole fanbase, us included. These negativity factories, whether they’re “fans” or fan accounts, are using their platforms to tear everyone down – players, families, friends, the whole lot.

    Not cool, guys. Not. Cool.

Look, I’ve never kicked a ball with Darwin, but the dude’s got serious talent. Goals, assists, and bringing that pure chaos energy? That’s what he does! He leaves it all on the pitch for this team, gets us pumped, and turns the excitement level up to max. Anfield, away game, doesn’t matter – our number 9 always delivers something to watch.

Sure, he’s had rough patches, even with all those goals and assists. Honestly, who can blame the guy? Between fixture pile-ups and everything else, he looked worn out. But certain corners of this fanbase, man… they switch from support to straight-up nastiness in a heartbeat. Darwin’s been on the receiving end of that way too much, and it’s beyond messed up.

I wish half the crap people spout online would just disappear. That’s the root of the problem for me. As much as I love interacting with other fans, some folks I see out there… they’re like the opposition. They say they love the club, but their actions are pure poison.

This isn’t just about being a Liverpool fan, it’s about being human. As someone soon to graduate with a degree in Child and Youth Care and a minor in Psychology, I see the devastating effects of online abuse firsthand – both in my work and in the beautiful game I love.

The constant barrage of negativity these players face isn’t just hurtful, it’s deeply damaging. It leaves invisible scars – a growing sense of isolation from the sport they love, their families, and even their own self-worth. Imagine the negative self-talk a player endures after relentless online abuse: “I’m not good enough,” “I’m letting everyone down.” This can lead to withdrawal, not just from the game, but from the people they care about most. That’s heartbreaking.

The worst part? This isn’t just about Darwin. It’s a cycle that’s targeted Mane, Henderson, Wijnaldum, and countless others. The trolls move on, leaving scars behind, and find new victims.

We need to break this cycle. It’s time for everyone – fans, clubs, social media platforms – to step up and say “no more.”

    Here’s what we can do:

    • Spread positivity: Let’s drown out the negativity with a tidal wave of support for our players.
    • Hold trolls accountable: Report abusive comments and call out this behavior.
    • Demand change: Support initiatives that hold social media platforms responsible for creating a safer online space.

Together, we can make a difference. Let’s show our players, and the world, that negativity has no place in our beautiful game.
